What bowls to watch on TV…

The number of bowls has increased to 34 this season and, not surprisingly, that means there are some less-than-savory bowls.

Hey, we have to watch every game; it’s our job. But there is no reason for the typical fan to waste his time watching some of these matchups, especially around the holidays.
Thus, in an effort to help the typical fan spend time wisely, here’s our ranking of the bowls – from 34th to first.
34. Independence Bowl, Louisiana Tech (7-5) vs. Northern Illinois (6-6), Dec. 28: This game is being played at night on the final Sunday of the NFL season. Trust us: If you tune in, absolutely nothing will be of NFL caliber.
