Snead completes record pass to Wallace
OXFORD – It might get lost in the shuffle of the University of Mississippi’s 59-0 victory against the University of Louisiana-Monroe, but two Rebels were involved in the longest pass in school history Saturday.
It didn’t go for a touchdown.
Ole Miss sophomore quarterback Jevan Snead hooked up with senior wide receiver Mike Wallace for an 88-yard pass play in the second quarter.
The previous record was set earlier this year when Snead hit Shay Hodge for an 86-yard score at Florida.
