Missed opportunities stymie MSU
Afterward MSU head coach Sylvester Croom didn’t mince words.
“They found a way to win, and we didn’t. Bottom line,” an exasperated Croom said to open his post-game press conference. “We had a blocked extra point and a missed field goal. In a close game like that, you can’t have that.”
Croom stopped short of calling out any special teams players in particular, and wouldn’t discuss specifics about the missed field goal.
