Mississippi’s four races for the state’s seats in the U.S. House of Representatives present voters with clear choices:
Interim Democratic U.S. Rep. Travis Childers in the 1st District – Voters will choose between interim U.S. Rep. Childers, D-Booneville, and the Republican nominee, Southaven Mayor Greg Davis, and independent retired Batesville restaurant owner Wally Pang and Green Party candidate John M. Wages Jr. of the rural Palmetto community near Tupelo. The election is to choose a successor to former Republican U.S. Rep. Roger Wicker, who was appointed to an interim U.S. Senate seat.
