Today, The Clarion-Ledger begins offering its endorsements for the Nov. 4 elections.
Tomorrow, the calls, e-mails and letters will start coming in. Some will disagree. Some with really disagree. Some will say we shouldn’t be trying to “tell people how to vote.” Some will even cancel subscriptions. Some of our colleagues here in the office will disagree.
That’s OK. Bring it on. It is healthy political dialogue that helps us all.
But, let me tell you why we endorse candidates.
