Virginia Sen. Jim Webb says “Reagan Democrats” should support candidates like Ronnie Musgrove in Mississippi.
Musgrove is trying to do what Webb did – unseat a Republican in a close U.S. Senate race.
Webb served as Navy secretary under President Reagan but won a Senate seat in 2006 as a Democrat. Webb said Monday in Jackson that Musgrove will be strong on veterans’ issues.
Wicker served in the Air Force and says in a campaign ad that he’s working to improve veterans’ health care.
