Coach tackles rumors he’s quitting and in poor health: “I’m as fired up as ever”
AUBURN – Tigers coach Tommy Tuberville mounted an aggressive campaign Monday to counter what he called false rumors about his health and future at Auburn.
Mixing jokes with passion in what sounded like a political stump speech, Tuberville declared he was “not a quitter,” and said he has no plans to resign or retire.
