FAYETTEVILLE – For most of the Hogs, it will be a reunion of sorts in Fayetteville this Saturday. Former coach Houston Nutt will be on the sidelines for the first time as the opponent.
Of course no one knows the magnitude of this game more than Bobby Petrino, Houston’s replacement. The coach is aware of the emotions that will be surrounding the game, not just on the field but across the state.
“Sure, our fans want to beat them”, says Petrino. “They want to beat Ole Miss. That is there, that is a fact. That’s just how it is and certainly we want to prepare, give it every little bit we’ve got, every extra effort, to coaches and players, to practice well and get ready to go out and perform”.
