Greg who? Spurrier more worried about schemes
South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier didn’t give it the old “Greg who?” But he came close.
The Head Ball Coach, asked Wednesday on the SEC coaches teleconference about the impact Greg Hardy has on Ole Miss’ defense, seemed at a loss initially as to who Hardy was and then offered somewhat of a ho-hum response.
For the record, Hardy is the guy the Gamecocks might want to make sure they block Saturday if they’re going to break their six-game SEC losing streak. He’s also the same guy that spent most of last Saturday afternoon hounding Florida quarterback Tim Tebow in the Rebels’ 31-30 win over the Gators.
