Led by coach Urban Meyer, offensive coordinator Mike Sanford and defensive coordinator Kyle Whittingham, Utah breezed through the 2004 season unbeaten and barely challenged. Each coach moved into another job after that historic year, trying to follow the ’04 Utes’ performance with more of the same.
