Black and orange are the colors of Oregon State, which caused a massive blackout across the college football landscape Thursday night with a 27-21 victory over No. 1-ranked Southern Cal. It’s not often that we wake up on a college football Saturday knowing the No. 1 spot is up for grabs. But you better believe they know it in Athens (No. 3 Georgia vs. No. 8 Alabama), Norman (No. 2 Oklahoma vs. No. 24 TCU), Gainesville (No. 4 Florida vs. Ole Miss), and Baton Rouge (No. 5 LSU vs. Mississippi State).

They know it because they know a good game, coupled with another upset or two, could vault any of those teams right into one of the coveted top two spots in the polls.
