– The Good: MSU’s offense wasn’t anemic like it was against Auburn, it just wasn’t opportunistic.
Coach Sylvester Croom was wanting to get more players involved in the offense. Redshirt freshman Robert Elliott (Okolona) got significant playing time, totaling 70 yards on 12 touches. Fullback Eric Hoskins made two catches, and receiver Aubrey Bell had his best game of the season with seven catches for 46 yards.
-The Bad: The bad was everywhere. The offense committed four turnovers, was 1 of 4 on fourth downs, and despite making 24 first downs couldn’t manage a touchdown until the fourth quarter.
