There was a couple of odd moments at the DNC convention Wednesday night. Much are making print about Barack Obama giving a big smooch on the lips to Jill Biden, Joe Biden’s wife. In this video, at 25:08 it shows the kiss after Obama walked out on stage. There are other videos with better views.
But stranger than that, and getting no attention was Joe Biden kissing what would appear to be one of his granddaughters in a manner that may have seemed disturbing to some. It was not caught on this video except the very end of it can be seen at 32:24. It seemed odd because Biden cupped his hands around the young girl’s face and planted a kiss right on her lips. Something that would easily seem appropriate to do to one’s wife, but a little odd for a teenager. The look on the young girl’s face didn’t make it appear that this was a common occurrence.
