Auburn’s first scrimmage passes the test

Coach Tommy Tuberville said he was generally pleased with Auburn’s first scrimmage of the fall that was held behind closed doors Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
We’ll be back with details and video in just a bit, but here are some quick looks from Tuberville: Quarterbacks Chris Todd and Kodi Burns looked “pretty sharp” and that the Tigers ran and passed on a 50-50 split.
“I thought the offense did better than we have in the past,” Tuberville said. “Then again, we’ve probably got more in. You say more in, you do fewer things in this offense out of a wider group of formations and it really gives you an opportunity to get mismatches and cause problems with the defense.”
