Alabama’s Tyrone Prothro says he’s not done with football
Not for the first time, the Tyrone Prothro story took a sharp turn Saturday. He said he’s not done with football.
And he wasn’t talking just about coaching.
He said his leg, the one that ended his college career three years ago when he broke it in two places, “is getting better.”
That wasn’t all he said.
“For the most part, I can move around and be active like I want to. But obviously I still have a long way to go. Eventually, hopefully, in a couple years, maybe I’ll be back to where I can give myself a shot to come back.”
