The last of the politicians have cleared the porch at our Neshoba County Fair cabin and it’s back to enjoying time with my family and friends.
So after 25 political speeches and a week of hard campaigning by the contenders, what did we learn?
It’s clear that Mississippi has a tight, hard-fought U.S. Senate race under way between Republican interim U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker and former Democratic Gov. Ronnie Musgrove. Several elements of that race are also clearer at this point.
