Gov. Haley Barbour blasted Democrats and urged fair-goers to support Sen. John McCain and other Republicans this fall in a speech interrupted by a heckler Thursday.
Some political analysts said Barbour’s comments likely resonated with his audience at the Neshoba County Fair since those who visit the annual event usually vote with the GOP. But some voters who attended the two days of political speaking by various candidates said they remain undecided.
Reading from prepared remarks, Barbour asked fair-goers if they had seen an ad describing Ronnie Musgrove as a budget conservative. “What a joke!” he said.
