Petrino says Hogs will fling the ball
Everybody thought Bobby Petrino had a tough road as coach of the Atlanta Falcons last football season, his first in the NFL.
He never had the services of his starting quarterback, Michael Vick, who pleaded guilty to federal charges for running a grisly dogfighting operation.
So when Petrino walked out on the 3-10 Falcons with three games left in the season and found a five-year, $2.85 million pot of gold as Arkansas’ head coach waiting at the end of the Razorback rainbow in Fayetteville, it was assumed he was breathing a sigh of relief.
