One of the only things a team can’t plan on, prepare for or defend against are injuries.
Injuries can come at any time, any place and happen to anybody.

Nobody knows this better than the Southern Miss baseball team and its head coach Corky Palmer, since over the course of the year the Golden Eagles have had at least seven regulars miss time due to injury.

Names like Barry Bowden, Corey Stevens, Keith Winstead and David Clark have all fallen victim to the injury bug’s random bite at one point or another this season.
