Jason Perry homered and James Parr scattered three hits over five innings to lead the Mississippi Braves to a 10-4 win over Mobile on Friday night.
The win was the first for the M-Braves in 12 road games this season. They are 5-17 overall.
Perry hit a three-run homer, his third since joining the team on Sunday, to put the M-Braves ahead 3-0 in the third inning.
Parr got his first win, with three relievers closing it out.
Tony Barnette (1-3) took the loss, allowing 10 hits and six runs in six innings.
The BayBears (10-12) cut a 6-1 Mississippi lead to 6-4 in the seventh inning, but Luis Valdez and Sung Ki Jung shut them down from there.
