Miss. Supreme Court formally disbars Balducci, Langston
The Mississippi Supreme Court on Thursday formally disbarred lawyers Timothy Balducci and Joey Langston, both of whom are linked to the ongoing investigation of corruption in Mississippi’s legal profession.
The Mississippi State Bar filed petitions to revoke the licenses to practice law for Balducci and Langston. The revocation of the license to practice law is standard in the case of a felony conviction, the Mississippi Bar has said. Under the rules, Mississippi lawyers who are disbarred for a felony cannot seek reinstatement.
