Voter turnout expected to be light to moderate

By: Magnolia Tribune - March 11, 2008

The Clarion-Ledger, 3/10/8

Voter turnout in tomorrow’s primaries will be higher than the last presidential primary but still light to moderate, Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann said today.

Between 125,000 to 150,000 voters will head to the polls, he said.

Congressional races in the third and first district are on the ballots, as well as a close race between Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
