Barbour: GOP VP Nom. Won’t Be Mississippian

There’s widespread talk that presidential candidate John McCain could ask Gov. Haley Barbour to be his running mate.

A Web site based in Georgia called DraftHaley.com said Barbour would be a perfect vice president.

Barbour said he doesn’t think that a Republican candidate for president will choose a running mate from Mississippi. But Barbour also said he would never turn down a job that hasn’t been offered.
