In a motion filed yesterday, Sid Backstrom withdrew from another case in Louisiana. Balducci had asked Backstrom to act as “local counsel” in a federal court levee case in Louisiana.
What makes this curious is that it is just one more link to how closely Balducci and the Scruggs firm were tied together.
