Musgrove announcement was unseemly

The people of Wicker’s congressional district in North Mississippi obviously disagree with that assessment, since they elected him to Congress seven times by overwhelming margins. And the people of the Mississippi Gulf Coast likely disagree with Musgrove’s attacks, too, in light of Wicker’s leadership on the federal government’s post-Katrina relief expenditures for Mississippi.

Regardless, Mr. Musgrove showed a serious lack of judgment on his way to the campaign, and it’s not likely to be forgotten.
