Mississippians will be able to watch some Senate action online during the legislative session that begins tomorrow.
Lt-Gov.-elect Phil Bryant announced today a partnership with Mississippi Public Broadcasting that will provide free equipment, installation and hosting this year. Viewers will be able to watch Bryant from the podium where he will preside over the Senate, and they will be able to see senators who introduce legislation from a podium on the floor.
Cameras will not focus on lawmakers in the Senate chamber.
