State SC: District 71 revote to proceed
The state Supreme Court has ordered that a revote scheduled Tuesday in four precincts proceed in the state House District 71 race.
The ruling overturns an order issued by Hinds County Circuit Judge Winston Kidd Dec. 11 telling the Hinds County Election Commission to certify results, which would have named political newcomer Adrienne Wooten the winner.
