Democrat state Rep. Jamie Franks conceded to Republican Phil Bryant in the race for the lieutenant governor’s seat.
“I’ve just talked to Jamie Franks. The attack ads were just part of the process,” said Bryant, who beat out state Sen. Charlie Ross for the Republican nomination in the primary. “We need to put it all behind us and work together.”
Franks, 34, said this is “not my last run.”
