Documents pertaining to payments to the Wood Street Lawn Service and other issues possibly related to Jackson Mayor Frank Melton have been turned over to the state auditor’s office.
Five sets of City Council minutes, along with a listing of some bills paid by the city, were given this week to an investigator with the Department of Audit, City Clerk Cedric Morgan said.
