On paper, the two Republican candidates for the District 4 Hinds County supervisor seat are strikingly similar.

Both of the Clinton residents came up through the same political channel – first serving on the city’s planning and zoning board and then becoming aldermen.

But incumbent Ronnie Chappell and opponent Phil Fisher say they couldn’t be more different, and their supporters agree.
