One of the most powerful positions in Mississippi government is up for grabs this year, and the three men vying for the position have different philosophies for how the office will operate.
Rep. Jamie Franks, the Democratic contender from Mooreville, will square off against State Auditor Phil Bryant or Sen. Charlie Ross of Brandon, both Republicans, in the November general election for lieutenant governor.
