“Sexual predators are patrolling these sites like sharks in the water, and they know that there are many convicted sex offenders patrolling these sites,” said Attorney General Jim Hood.
Attorney General Jim Hood, along with seven other state attorneys general, have sent a letter demanding MySpace to turn over the names of potentially thousands of convicted sex offenders on their site. The letter asks myspace to give details on what it has done to warn users who have communicated with these known offenders and to contact law enforcement.
