The state Supreme Court wants a Hinds County circuit judge to decide whether sanctions are warranted against the attorney for Jackson Mayor Frank Melton in his dispute with Circuit Judge Tomie Green.
In an order Thursday, the high court sent Green’s request for sanctions against Dale Danks Jr. back to a circuit judge other than Green to conduct an evidentiary hearing.
