Jackson teen was in police custody Thursday after leading officers on a chase through a quiet Jackson neighborhood.
The young man is accused of stealing a car from an elderly lady, which he quickly ditched after police spotted him a short time later.
Police finally made their arrest near the intersection of Haynes Street and Oak Forest Drive, after a short foot chase.
Officers armed with shotguns surrounded this block of Oak Forest Drive where the car thief bailed out. Searching through creeks, behinds homes and in heavy brush.
