House Democrats force another day of special session costing Mississippi taxpayers more money
House Democrats in the Mississippi Legislature blocked a motion to suspend the rules Tuesday not allowing the chamber to take up the special session budget bill. This will add day at least one day to special session costing the state more of your tax dollars. 6/28/16

Republican state senators Angela Hill, Chris McDaniel and Michael Watson voted with Democrats and against Gov. Phil Bryant’s special session bill to balance the state budget.
