Lanny Mixon is no stranger to sports fans and outdoor enthusiasts from the Magnolia State. For more than 15 years Mixon published BigGoldNation.com on the Rivals Network covering Southern Miss sports. He also served as the assistant editor of Mississippi Sports Magazine from 2011-14. Mixon hosted the Pine Belt Sports Drive each afternoon on 98.1 WMXI-FM in Laurel-Hattiesburg from 2012-17. Mixon lives in Brooklyn, Mississippi with his wife Stephanie and two children.
