Tide’s defense making the red zone a dead zone

Opponents have driven inside Alabama’s 20-yard line 14 times this season. They have scored only two touchdowns. The Tide has made as many stops (six) as they have allowed field goals.
Alabama has intercepted three passes, recovered two fumbles and taken over on downs once.
In a 31-6 victory Saturday over No. 7 Florida, Alabama allowed one field goal in four red-zone visits by the Gators. It had two takeaways and stopped a fourth-down play.
