Key stretch: at Georgia (Sept. 18), Alabama (Sept. 25), vs. Texas A&M in Arlington, Texas (Oct. 9), at Auburn (Oct. 16)
Prediction: Aside from the level of competition, the toughest thing about this stretch is that three of the four games are away from home. A year ago, there was a big difference in the home version of the Hogs and the away version. At least, there’s a bye between the Alabama and Texas A&M contests. The pivotal game is that first one. Winning at Georgia is a must if Arkansas is serious about contending for the Western Division championship. It would also set up the biggest game in years at Razorback Stadium that next week when Alabama comes to town. A 3-1 record would put the Hogs right in the middle of the West race and pave the way for a 10-win season, but a 2-2 record may be more realistic.
