‘Electric’ Saban deals with ‘Bama adulation as Tide roll on

All depends on how you define your statues of coaching immortals. In three short years, Nick Saban has energized Alabama, but it’s only a coincidence that his likeness will sit atop that power box in the fall. There’s a big difference between winning and being electric doing it.
It was, then, Saban as usual at Saturday’s A-Day spring game. Other than learning that Alabama will be more than deserving of what is likely to be its No. 1 preseason ranking, there was the revelation that Saban is capable of something close to blushing.
