Chris Kiffin leaves NU staff, will join dad, brother at USC

A third Kiffin is joining the Southern California football coaching staff.

Chris Kiffin, a 28-year-old offensive intern on Bo Pelini’s staff at Nebraska this past season, said Monday he’s accepted a job as a defensive administrative assistant at USC, where his brother, Lane Kiffin, is head coach and father, Monte Kiffin, is defensive coordinator.

Chris Kiffin will break down video of USC opponents and help put together scouting reports. He’ll also help the Trojans’ recruiting operation, “like film work, organizational matters and targeting players,” he said.
