As a lot of people predicted at the beginning of the season, the best college football player in the country, the guy who should win the Heisman Trophy if voters don’t let the thing turn into a beauty contest, will lead his offense into the SEC Championship game and possibly to the BCS national title.
But what nobody could have seen in August is that it’s not Tim Tebow: it’s Mark Ingram. The Alabama back is not only the best runner in the SEC, he’s the best player in the college game.
