Trahan eyes odd homecoming

There will be no hero’s welcome when Patrick Trahan returns to Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium. And that’s just fine for the Ole Miss linebacker, who was hoping for a little more caustic environment anyway.

“I hope they boo me,” Trahan said with a grin. “That would be pretty cool.”
Ole Miss (5-2 overall, 2-2 Southeastern Conference) travels to face Auburn (5-3, 2-3) at 11:21 a.m. on Saturday, and it will be the first time Trahan has been to the campus on The Plains since his unceremonious departure nearly three years ago.
He readily admits it will be an emotional day.
