With the Jayhawks needing 59 minutes to put away the Golden Eagles in a 35-28 shootout, nobody in Memorial Stadium — even hoopsters Tyshawn Taylor and Sherron Collins sitting next to each other — could have been thinking much about the events of the past week.
For the first time this season, Kansas had to sweat one out.
