Raiders snap Pats’ 37-game MAIS streak
For the first time in five seasons, an MAIS team left the field victorious after facing the Jackson Prep Patriots.
Jackson Academy (5-1) blocked a potential game-tying field goal try with less than a minute left on Friday night to beat Prep 10-7 and snap the Pats’ 37-game winning streak vs. MAIS teams.
Prep had beaten JA five times during its streak.
“Every year, we know they can beat us,” Prep coach Ricky Black said.
