LSU let Rebels’ Brandon Bolden get away

OXFORD, Miss. — Brandon Bolden broke away from the Ole Miss campus for a couple of weeks this summer to spend some time at home in Baton Rouge, La., where his friends and fans feel conflicted about his success.

This became clear to him when he decided to wear an Ole Miss T-shirt to a mall.
“I basically got the same question: ‘How’d we let you get away?'” said Bolden, a sophomore running back. “One lady came up to me and asked, ‘Are you Brandon Bolden?’ I said, ‘Yes, ma’am.’ And she goes, ‘The one that got away.’ Then she turned and kept on walking.”
