Something tells me Alabama coach Nick Saban won’t be in the cheeriest of moods Thursday.
Sophomore linebacker Courtney Upshaw has been arrested on a domestic violence/harassment charge and his bond set at $500. Saban hates distractions during preseason camp as much as anything, especially this particular camp.
It’s not like the Crimson Tide are opening the season against Directional State U. Virginia Tech is ranked No. 7 nationally and is nasty on defense.
Upshaw had been one of the more promising up-and-coming players this preseason for Alabama. He was competing for the starting Jack linebacker position.
