Bobby Bowden says Charlie Ward was better than Tim Tebow
TALLAHASSEE – Leave it to Bobby Bowden to add some spark to otherwise uneventful preseason drills.
As the Seminoles finished practicing on Tuesday, Bowden was asked to name the greatest player he has coached at FSU. He quickly named former FSU Heisman Trophy winner Charlie Ward. Then Bowden thought of Florida QB Tim Tebow, and about how people ask him whether Tebow is the best ever.
