Former Steelers coach Bill Cowher offers advice to Plaxico Burress
Long before Plaxico Burress was challenging Tom Coughlin’s rules or being indicted for breaking the gun laws of New York City, he was Bill Cowher’s problem for five years in Pittsburgh.
Cowher, the former Steelers coach, has been keeping up with Burress’ legal woes. He seems to truly like him, but chose to describe his former receiver’s situation as “unfortunate,” rather than the suggestion that his fall from grace as a Super Bowl hero to a potential state prison inmate was actually really sad.
