After five gut-wrenching, emotional days, Metro Police Chief Ronal Serpas announced Titans quarterback Steve McNair was shot and killed by Sahel Kazemi, who in turn took her own life.
That murder-suicide answer provides an enormous amount of closure on the tragedy.
Although murder-suicide seemed apparent early on in the case, Metro police dutifully explored all options.
The time lapse allowed the minds of a lot of wannabe forensics experts and amateur sleuths to run wide open.
