STARKVILLE — With this Mississippi State team, it was likely only a matter of when, not if, the school record for 3-pointers in a game would fall.
The way Arkansas was making its treys Saturday afternoon at Humphrey Coliseum, turns out that the Bulldogs would need every last one.
MSU made 16 3-pointers and erased a 15-point halftime deficit to win 86-77 in front of an announced crowd of 7,421. The previous record for treys was 14, set six times, including two times this season alone.
